Assignments allow your students to play Gimkit on their own from anywhere. Use assignments for distance learning, independent study, or homework.

Creating an an assignment takes just a few minutes. First, select the kit you want to use.

Gimkit assignments allow your students to play Gimkit on their own time. Here's how to create an assignment:
From your Dashboard, click the "Assign HW" button next to any Kit.

You can also create an assignment from your Assignments section.

To access your assignments, click Assignments from your dashboard.
Click into assignments section
You'll see a list of all of your assignments. Click the assignment you'd like to view, share, or manage.
Select a kit
Once inside your assignment, you'll see several navigation options aFew readersComplete an assignment
There are two ways for students to complete an Assignment in Gimkit:
Reach the target cash goal
Reach the target question goal (optional)
Cash and question goals are set up for each assignment when an assignment is created after the kit and mode are selected. They cannot be changed later.

Click Results from the navigation options at the top of any assignment to view results for that assignment.

Setting up your assignments with classes will change the way you can view and sort results.
Without classes, you can't easily view multiple attempts by the same student side-by-side. Also, the "Class" option won't show up as a sort oFew readersAssignment reports
Gimkit provides reports for all live games and assignments.
From your Dashboard, click into assignments in the left-hand pane.
Click the assignment you want to view the report for.
Click "Open Report" from the top menu of your assignment.

Assignments are designed to save automatically so your students don't have to worry about saving progress as they go.
We save assignment progress every minute, so students who close an assignment, or leave and come back, should get dropped into where they were before.
