How to Manage Group Subscriptions

Groups are our way of providing deep discounts for departments and schools that want to cover their teachers' Gimkit Pro upgrades.

Our Group Subscriptions under Groups are basically just bundles of Gimkit Pro upgrades, currently available at two levels: Department and School. Learn more about how Groups work here.

Groups are managed and distributed by Group Admin or Admins. This article is intended to help Group Admins distribute their Pro upgrades and manage their Group.

As your Group's Admin, you can add and remove members to and from your Group Subscription at any time.

Our Group Subscription system may differ from others you've used. Please take a moment to read the below in full and watch the explainer video.

If you are not an Admin of your Group but believe you should be covered by your Group's Subscription, please contact your Group's Admin as we don't manage or distribute seats to Groups on our end.

Adding Members to your Group

To provide Gimkit Pro Upgrades under your Group, you'll need to add Members to it. Here's how:

Log in to your Gimkit Acocunt
Go to the Settings section of your account
Click on your Group Subscription in the left-hand panel
Under the Members tab, enter in any email address with an existing Gimkit account
Click Add
You're done! The added Member will need to log out and back in to access their upgrade

Note: Admins need to add themselves as Members if they are one of the covered teachers under a Group.

Note: Each Member and Admin you add to your Group must have a Gimkit account before you add them.

Note: Our system does not automatically match up and cancel individual and Group subscriptions applied to the same account. If the teacher you're adding has a an individual Gimkit subscription, they will need to manually cancel it. Learn more here.

Removing Members

To remove a Member from your Group Subscription, click the trashcan icon next to their email address.



Adding Admins to your Group

To provide Gimkit Pro Upgrades under your Group Subscription, you'll need to add Members to it. Here's how:

Login to your Gimkit Acocunt
Go to the Settings section of your account
Click on your Group Subscription in the left-hand panel
Under the Admins tab, enter in any email address with an existing Gimkit account
Click Add
You're done! The added Admin will need to log out and back in to access their upgrade

Admins cannot remove other Admins - Admins have to remove themselves.
