How does district pricing work?

Gimkit offers district pricing through Gimkit Groups.

However, we don't currently offer custom pricing for larger groups and districts. We're a small company and we want to make sure we're developing Gimkit for all educators and students, rather than our largest customers. This doesn't mean that we don't care about or want districts purchasing Gimkit - we do!

Groups is fully automated with two available tiers for purchasing bulk Gimkit upgrades at a steep discount. The same amazingly-priced School level group we offer to individual schools is available to districts - we offer full-building coverage at a flat rate of $1,000.

There are two ways you can purchase as many School level groups as you need for your district:

Individual Group Management
If your district has several schools that want to have operate and administer their Groups independently, you can create as many separate School level quotes as you need and purchase them one by one. The pricing will be the same as if your schools purchased their School level Groups on their own: If you have 10 schools, the total cost will be $10,000 per year ($1,000 x 10 = $10,000).

District-Level Group Management
If you have several schools you'd like to manage with one, central Group, please email us at with the number of schools you'd like to cover. We can provide one quote for all covered schools and help you set up your Group. The pricing will be the same as if you had several separate Groups: If you have 10 schools, the total cost will be $10,000 per year ($1,000 x 10 = $10,000).

With both options above, the pricing will be the same as if the schools all purchased their Groups independently. For both of the above, if you have 10 schools, the total cost will be $10,000 per year ($1,000 x 10 = $10,000).
Ensuring educators are covered by their schools and districts is important to us, which is why we developed an automated, simple, haggle-free, low-stress system for purchasing Gimkit for your group.

Thank you for your interest in covering your district's use of Gimkit and let us know if you have any questions at all at!
