Here's how to add exponents or superscripts/subscripts into your Kit's questions or answers! This currently is a bit of a workaround. Our goal is to provide some better support for these within Gimkit. We know we have a lot to improve upon in making Gimkit easier for math educators!
Adding Exponents or Superscripts
Option 1: Carrot Symbol
Use the carrot (^) symbol to indicate an exponent. Here's an example:
5^6
Option 2: Superscript Generator
Use a superscript generator, such as this one (https://lingojam.com/SuperscriptGenerator). Copy and paste the text it provides into Gimkit. As an example, here's what it ends up looking like:
5⁶
Adding Subscripts
Use a subscript generator, such as this one (https://lingojam.com/SubscriptGenerator). Copy and paste the text it provides into Gimkit. As an example, here's what it ends up looking like:
5₃ₓ ₊ ₁
We have a lot of work to do in order to make this process easier for math educators, but we hope this will work for the time being!
